PANTANG..

Salam..

** this is totally base on personal preferances and experienced. **

My pantang period is : 44 days bermula dari hari pertama bersalin.

Sepanjang 44 hari tu

•  tak keluar rumah kecuali ade check up dgn doctor (xde issue sgt pon sbb i mmg suka dok rumah..anak2 alhamdulillah xde yg kene jaundice)
• kene pakai kain batik and baju ala2 kurung kedah yg berbutang depan tu (baru tanya nak pakai tshirt pon dah kene jelingan ok dgn ibu..)
• berbengkung and pakai socks hari2.. ( yg ni ikut sedap hati je.. ibu x larat nak jeling dah)
• makan mengikut menu berpantang yg diluluskan oleh ibu.. tp menu berpantang ibu saya semua sedap2.. so i dont mind at all..

I know setiap org ada cara masing2..ada yang nak ikut adat berpantang, ada yg x ikut langsung.
Terpulang pada diri masing2..Jgn banding2kan diri kita dgn org lain.

Bile my patient ask me about this subject , from medical point of view senang je.. 😎 xde pon pantang2.. yg penting jaga kesihatan . Makan makanan yg sihat, good rest.. kalau ade penyakit2 tu, ikut la arahan2 doctor..makan ubat yg sepatutnya..monitor blood pressure ke.. monitor gula ke.

Yang jadi berbalah pendapat ni biasanya bila kita ni jadi terlalu "rigid". Keras mcm batu. Lepas tu emosi bile org x sependapat dgn kita..

So free your mind, jgn stress2..

I personally sangat2 suka tempoh berpantang. serious!😊
Maybe sbb cara berpantang yg ibu set for me sgt best sebenarnya.. walaupon mula2 dulu masa Ahmad agak terlalu strict.. biasalah, masa mula2 jd nenek kan..die yg nervous lebih. Tapi sekarang, she's more relax and sporting.

Alhamdulillah, pengalaman2 yg sebelum ni, i get byk support bukan shj dr ibu sendiri & husband tapi juga from mak mentua , mak sedara, dan lovely cousins.
Kalau ibu x sempat nak masak, my aunty slalunya prepare it for me.. pastu ade la sesiapa tolong bring the foods to me..
Syukur juga sepanjang 3 kali berpantang sebelum ni, i got pembantu rumah yg reliable and helpful with house work especially bab preparing baju2 kerja husband/skolah anak semua..I memang x suruh my maid masak..
So, if u see me still x susut2 berat badan lepas pantang.. ni lah sebabnya.

So let me share a bit la HOW TO HAVE LESS HEADACHE during PANTANG :

1) Support

• 1st skali dr suami. Cuti lama sket if possible tolong handle baby tu.. moral support to wife. Tolong settle kerja2 rumah mana yg patut.. masak kalau pandai.. Ketua keluarga kan. Be strong and just do it! 💪
• 2nd , ahli keluarga.. parents/ adik beradik/ sedara mara.. ni kire mcm standby kalau mmg tahu husband sendiri mcm x berapa nak boleh harap (hehe maaf la ye..mmg wujud suami begini) or long distance relationship ke.. tuntutan kerja yg x dpt nak dikorbankan..
• 3rd Maid. Mostly husband x dpt nak cuti lama2.. so usaha la sket cr pembantu rumah.. terutamanya bile xde ahli keluarga yg boleh bantu.. mak dah uzur ke.. Kalau anak baru sorang gigih la lagi xde maid. Tapi if u have a toddler at least, cukup penat dah..nak handle baby baru lahir lagi.. Mana la x murung ..
• 4th Confinement Lady : skarang ni ada yg stay in dgn kita sekali ada, yg duduk dgn kite sampai ptg pon ada.. mcm2 pilihan. Tapi yg ni x lah wajib. Bergantung pd bajet & keperluan masing2.. 

2) Makanan - sebelum ni i got it prepared by ibu or by mak jenon (my aunty)
                      - ni no 4 ni rasanya nak try juga a few food delivery kalau ibu x sihat ke, busy ke.
                        Kesian nak harap sepenuhnya pd ibu sebenarnya..
                      - antara yg i dah survey sket2 & nampak mcm sedap  :

• PantangFood - ig : pantangfoodofficial . Harga from rm60/day. Ada mcm2 pakej.
• PantangFoodFrozen . Harga from Rm40/day (minimum 3 hari) + RM20 transport charge)
• Dahmakan
• CikTa's Kitchen - ni org alam impian je. Boleh order sehari sebelum. 

My issue bab makanan ni slalunya jenis ikan je. Ibu x pernah masak ikan sungai or ikan bilis sepanjang tempoh pantang. Reason? die kata die pon x tahu. hahaha die cakap dulu2 arwah atok n nenek pon x bagi die makan ikan2 tu. So die follow je. Makanya, i pon follow je laa.. (i told u, im a very good daughter 😁)

My common foods during pantang usually : 

Ikan : Kurau, senangin, jenahak, merah, bawal putih.. baru2 ni die bagi makan salmon.

Ayam/ Daging : 2nd week ibu bagi makan. Selalunya ayam kampung.

Udang/ Sotong : masa pantang no3 die bagi makan masa dah hujung mggu ke 2. Alhamdulillah ok je.

Sayur - Ulam2 (x sure nama), sawi, carrot, kailan, brocoli.. byk je pilihan. Hari2 mesti ada.

Fruits - selalunya orange & apple..skali sekali durian pon dapat. hehe Tp i mmg x berani makan 

             betik sbb masa Ahmad dulu makan betik terus demam. serik.

Drinks - Milo, Horlicks, Black Coffee, Susu anlene, Air longan self rebus with kurma merah.
              Xde water restriction. Air masak minum banyak2..
Others - Roti, Biscuit Jacob, kadang2 dapat je makan fruit-cheese tart .. choc cake. ✌
Jenis masakan : Goreng/Asam/Kicap/Kari xde santan/Pindang/Steam/Bakar

3) Confinement Lady
Ni memang my favourite ..sebab kene urut and tungku sgt laa relaxing..

Pastu mandi guna daun2 apa ntah..tp wangi. Mandi bunga.. Ada ke org yg x suka? 

My no 4 i plan to get 14 days confinement package.. Biasanya they will come selang2 hari..
I cant cope yg datang hari2 sampai 44 hari tu coz sometimes i just need my me-time and rest je.

I also cannot cope yg stay in sbb rasa my house penuh dah org.. maid pon ade tolong settle kerja rumah and jagakan Sarah (no 3). My 1st & 2nd child pulak sekolah sampai petang..
So i prefer yg datang berulang untuk 2-3 jam pon dah cukup..
Kalau area lembah klang ni, mmg byk yg offer servis ni.. google je la or cari je kt ig. berderet2 keluar.

Anak No 2, bidan area rumah ibu juga..sbb still berpantang kt sana. Tungku and bengkung maid ibu from Indon hari2 buatkan.

Anak no 3 , pantang kat rumah sendiri.. ibu datang daily or stay over. Pakai Sentuhan Bonda (CL Fizah) sbb recommended by my cousin. Urut mmg superb.. speciality die bab urut susu or bengkak susu..

Anak no 4 : masih survey2..dan belum finalised lg.. mcm nak cuba yg lain pulak. we'll see..

Ok la, panjang sangat2 dah ni..
Doakan yg baik2 buat saya utk kandungan kali ni ye.. Semoga Allah permudahkan urusan kita semua.. amin.

Alhamdulillah.. many of you already knew regarding this news.
I officially spread this unexpected news during raya time last month.
Reaction? hahaha mostly terkejut la..
Me & Anwar pon terkejut ourselves.. This is my very first "unexpected pregnancy".
Macam2 perasaan ada..
Terkejut .. x percaya.. malu & mcm mana nak hadap orang sekeliling.. and most importantly, how am i going to cope with my preggy-self with another 2 toddlers and an infant and my business!
Lg best, i just enrolled myself to Celebrity Fitness in less than a month and i cant cancel it coz there will be penalty what so ever if i do it.
So bye2 CF.. see u next year maybe... 😭

So how do we handle it?
To be honest, for a hormonal-swing woman , it is very hard to keep all the emotional roller coaster feeling alone. Thank god, i have a less emotional husband who tried his best level of kesabaran to keep up with me.. sampai the last resort is
" ok la sayang, up to u.. if u want to keep it, we will keep the baby..insyaAllah no problem with that.. but if u really think u cant take it, cant handle it physically and emotionally, i am with you too.. u choose which hospital and which doctor you want to see and we terminate it. Let me know when and where"

Yes.. sampai mcm tu dah.. dont judge me.
So, i keep myself to the "undecided state" for a while.. play with the time..
Then i teringat pulak ayat ni.. "Allah hanya menguji hambanNya yang mampu.."
Maka , insaf & sentap pd diri sendiri.

I start to look around my friends/ family yang ada anak kembar.. x mati pon derang kan. hahaha
So ok la.. let it be. Bring it on kids!
Stop thinking too much and lets start doa banyak2 beranak kali ni x sakit & cepat & kalau nak sakit pon harap2 sempat la nak put in epidural ke.. sign consent letter suruh operate ke.
Hahahaha... Please pray for me.

I settle myself first.. mentally. Physically mmg la x dpt nak tolong sgt kan.. mmg penat.

So bile dah ready, me & nwar informed my ibu 1st.
Bab nak inform org ni agak seronok and kelakar sebenarnya.. Reaksi derang mmg patut di amik gamba jdkn kenangan. hehehe
Tapi my ibu ok je.. bersyukur laa dengan "kesuburan" anak die ni..

Then, news spread to anwar's family side.
Belah sini best.. sbb semua pon mcm haaa alhamdulillah... bagus laa awak beranak ramai2 time mude2 ni ( ok i still mude ok..happy dah)
Makcik dulu pon tiap2 tahun ada anak kecik.. InsyaAllah ok..
Very encouraging! i like it.. it makes me relax a bit.

Bile balik Shah Alam.. here we go to my own beautiful family side..
Semua was like 😲😲😲 .. ade yg x percaya.. ade yg ko pantang tak ni?
hahaha.. mula2 je la.. lepas tu.. bile hilang terkejut derang tu.. derang treats me as "mak buyong queen" again.. hahaha padan muke.
They have this " guilty allergy' to any mak buyomg request.. so sebut je la nak ape.. they'll get it for me. 💜

My current pregnancy is indeed a poor spacing pregnancy.
Mengandung cara ni bukan lah perkara yang harus dibanggakan.. instead harus dipandang serious.
In case any of you having the same issue like mine, pergi buat check up dengan doctor cepat-cepat.
Banyak risiko-risiko bahaya mengandung boleh datang dari kandungan ni " high risk pregnancy".
antaranya, risiko kelahiran pra matang.. pregnancy-induced hypertension.. and banyak lagi.

Bab emosi, jangan pandang ringan ye.
1st sekali mesti utamakan diri sendiri.. kemudian get support dr suami, parents, adik beradik, sepupu sepapat, kawan2..
Kalau x boleh juga, get professional help.
Jangan bandingan keadaan kandungan setiap individu yg berbeza sbb u never know setiap org punye tahap kesihatan mcm mana.

As for me, I belum buat decision yet nak jumpa pakar bersalin mana for this one.
Rasanya still will go to DEMC .. eh nama baru dh jd Avisenna Hospital for logistic reason.
Kecuali laa tibe2 jalan kt pavillion pastu nak terberanak.. i'll go to Prince Court .
Sarah was with Dr Jumeah in DEMC.. She was great.
Nwar kata, tukar2 la doctor.. so setiap anak doctor lain2.. hmm suke2 hati die je laa..
Malas nak fikir banyak sebenarnye sebab nanti takut..

Saya sebenarnya suka blogging.. tapi mempunya masa yang agak terhad.
Saya harap one day my children able to read what i had in my mind ..or maybe bile die org rindu pd i, they can always look at this blog.

So, i introduced my 2nd child when i was almost due for my 3rd child. 
Now let me introduce my 3rd child - SARAH.
Also to let u know that (to those yg belum tahu) i am now carrying another baby in my womb - yes, no 4. Later, la kite story sket2 pasal no 4.. or maybe after safely delivered, i'll blog about her.
Yes, another girl.💓

Sarah was born on 22nd January 2018 , Monday morning (10.29am) in DEMC (now dah tukar nama jd Avisenna Hospital) when her father was still in Shanghai,China !
She was term at 37week with birth weight 3.49kg..
Panjang x ingat. kene tengok buku rekod.

Actually Anwar is on his way back home to Malaysia that day.. flight arrival 11.30pm..
Tapi..
His girls semua jenis tak sabar2 nak kluar..gave me contraction within 2 hours and out they were!

@7.30am : mild morning contraction makes me hmm.. ni main2 ke ape ni.
                   i was a bit worry coz my last scan showed estimated fetal weight was 3.6kg.
                   Ahmad was 3.6kg and he was born through c-sect.
                   So i called Anwar and this what he said >> sakit ke? tunggu papa laa malam ni.ok? 😒

@8.00am : buat decision to go to hospitala la walaupon x sakit sgt..dgn harapan kalau cepat boleh
                   ask for epidural..haha i wish.

@8.30am : Contraction tiba2 makin kuat pulak.

@9.00am : Keluar rumah. Dalam kereta sakit sgt dah. Sufi sampai kene berhenti kejap2
@9.30am : Arrived DEMC and nurse tu ingat aku ni sakit main2.. siap daftar relax soh check BP.
                   Time check BP tangan nurse tu kene pial baru die "eh, puan tgh sakit sgt ke??.. jom2
                   push die ke katil.
                   Midwife datang and did VE.. sambil i ask her to be faster (haha) pasang la epidural.
                   tapi.. i already 9cm!!! haishhhh again.. melepas laa harapan epidural.

@ 10.29am : i cant remember ntah berapa kali push (like did u seriously count it??) finally baby's out.
                      in between of course la ade drama soh doctor operate je kan. hahaha sakit ok.
                      Branula pon x dan pasang. I'm so "naturally gentlebirth"..alhamdulillah..


Just like Ahmad & Sofea, her name was give on her day 7 of life..together with simple majlis of tahnik & cukur jambul sampai botak.
Her rambut kite org timbang and mengikut harga emas semasa, duit tu akan didermakan kpd anak yatim/asnaf.
Aqiqah je lambat sket for Sarah for unknown reason of my husband. Busy kot. kelam kabut balik dr China.. emotional breakdown sbb tengok wife die sgt terer teran beranak without him.
But i think it was done around her day 21 of life through Ezyqurban.
Sofea & Ahmad dua2 korban on day 7 jugak..

My post-partum process..hmm.. x berapa best masa 10 hari pertama sebab kene "rengat".
Sakit ok. x pernah kene sebelum ni.
It feels like ur rahim mcm nak terjatuh bile jalan. Nak mengiring pon x selesa.
Midwives from DEMC buat home visit 2 kali.. mesti lah die org x dp check my episiotpmy wound.
But they said it is normal bile makin byk kandungan, rasa post-partum uterine contraction tu lambat sket nak hilang..
Redha je la..
Bertungku helps a lot laa to make me comfortable. & of course painkiller.
Susu? ok je.. haha xnak story sgt. sbb nanti bg pengaruh x baik pd org lain pulak.
Cut story short breast milk still the best milk for our baby. Bagi la selagi mampu & larat.
Kalau penat, suruh husband korang plak bagi susu badan die. *joke*
i try not to feel stress during my confinement period.
Jaundice - Sarah x kene. Ahmad & Sofea pon x kene dulu..

Ok la, panjang sgt dah.

Cepat betul masa berlalu skarang ni.. and as i promised earlier, im going to blog about my 2nd child..

Latest Update ; usia kandungan no 3 adalah 34 minggu!! (panic mode ON)

Her name is Sofea binti Khairil Anwar.
I'm so happy that my husband gave me full authority to choose her name *love* .

Yes, she is an intended pregnancy.
Maksudnya, selepas Ahmad 2 tahun , me and my husband agree to expand our family member with 1 syarat :- i want to deliver my 2nd child through operation. hehehe
Well, Ahmad was delivered thru emergency c-sect and i realized that i couldn't bear any labour pain coz my pain threshold is very minimal and my recovery process after c-sect was great.

So, in 2014, i was in my family medicine master programme (UiTM) & my husband was in orthopaedic master programme (UKM) and we are about to sit for our part 1 exam when i confirmed my pregnancy. Maybe to some people master programme is easy (sape lah tu..) but not to us unfortunately. My hormonal kick makes me feel guilty everyday... even worse, my 1st born pon asyik la meragam..hard to explain.
Hence, the decision for me to quit the programme & the promise of my husband to graduate on time.
That is the history of Klinik Sofia ... (i just like that name walaupon masa tu baru 1st trimester)

Back to my 2nd pregnancy history,
We did our check up with the same soft-motherly nature Dato' Dr Siti Zaleha in SJMC..
Funny part was, Dr Siti nampak je my face in her clinic, her 1st question was "how many children do you want Suria?" and my answer was " 3 enough for me.."
Dr Siti said " lets have elective c-sect this time then ." ahahhaha

Kita hanya merancang, i was schedule for my elective c-sect on 27th October 2014, Monday..
Allah knows best .. on Sunday morning of 26th October 2014 , i had my contraction pain after suboh.. I thought it was just my normal morning contraction which usually lasted for 30 minutes - 1 hour but it gets intense by 8am. Thank god i ate nasi briyani Syed the night before..

We were in the car by 8.30am heading to SJMC but as the contraction was killing me, i ask Anwar to go to the nearest hospital --> DEMC Shah Alam.
Guess what, i was 9cm at DEMC emergency ( bye2 to my dream of elective c-sect plan ) and my water broke spontaneously in the elevator to the labour room.
Dato' Dr Zamri was the O&G doctor oncall that day.. at 9.30am, Sofea, our 2nd child was born..

I feel quite proud of myself coz i didn't take any painkiller (x sempat pon) or entanox (so called happy gas) before or after the delivery process. Dr Zamri was indeed a nice man and penyabar.. (but i still menyorok kalau ternampak die during my check-up now hehehe)
My husband was the happiest man on that day - i can tell u that .. he must be doing very good that Allah has granted his doa for me to deliver normally.
For that, he said - ok, sayang u can choose our daughter's name. ceit.

All my close family was surprised with my successful SVD story.. They even confused when Anwar called them to inform i was in labour room in DEMC..
So that is Sofea's birth history. Full of surprises ..

How its gonna be to my no 3 ? Well, up until now, i tell my Obs Doctor - Dr Jumeah, the plan is NO Plan. Please doa for my smooth, easy, fast & not painful delivery & recovery process.. amin..

After 3years & 8 months of Hiatus

Salam..
its been ages. my last blog was still about my 1st born.
now im carrying my no 3 .. phew.. life is ok.... i guess. rollercoaster ride of course.

So, lets do fast update
- my 1st born -Ahmad is now 6 years old (his bday will be in 11 days)
- soon to be in year 1 .. so fast..
- my 2nd born - Sofea. She is 3yo.. currently in playschool. Adore her big brother so much.
- i will do special post about her InsyaAllah..
- i'm no longer a gov doctor. I quit my master in family meds (UiTM) in 2014 , after completed 1 year programme to family priorities. Not because the prog stressed me out.. hehehe
- My dear husband , then was doing his ortho master programme under UKM , now Alhamdulillah just had his convo 2 weeks ago. He's Mr Khairil Anwar now.. KKM ortho specialist.
- i have my own GP-clinic now in Shah Alam.. this clinic was opened in May 2014.. it just 5 minutes drive from my home.
- I am 7months+  pregnant my no 3.. uncomplicated so far..Alhamdulillah. my due date will be at the end of January 2018, insyaAllah.. pray for my smooth, painless delivery and recovery.. amin..
- im still managing my clinic Mon-Friday & my kids myself most of the time..
- i just got my new maid last week...yaahoo! after my 5 years lovely maid decided to return back home and get married in January this year.. i was maidless for freaking 10 months & i survived!! hahahaha >> imagine during that time, my husband was doing his final exam & i was in my 1st -2nd trimester of pregnancy.. the rollercoaster ride was like hanging legs type of ride with 80% loops..
- now , everything much comforting except that the fact of being pregnant at 7-8months is never comforting at all.. hehe but Alhamdulillah.. Allah has the greatest plan of all.

so thats all for now, i hope i could blog more often..
